I had planned on getting up early to do Jorge's torture de jour.....had a rough night sleeping and decided that I would catch more sleep this morning.  I still feel kind of rough.  As my ex husband used to say "shot at and missed, sh&t at and hit"  yep.....it fits today.  So.....I may do some yoga and / or pilates later and call it a day.  Really depends on how much I perk up here.  The Things have been looking at prom dresses on line.  I think Miss Thing wants to look at Dillards and also at David's Bridal.  We have a Dillards in the mall, David's is up by Performance Bike which isn't too far out there......but takes more of an effort to get to when you look at Miss Thing's calendar with show choir rehearsals and competitions.
OK....I think I know why I woke up so sore today.......last night I was pulling the rowing machine a lot harder than I have in the past.  In general, I have had a rate of 27 pulls/ minute on it.  For some ... (read more)

Plans of Doom and World Domination - IdealMuse (2012-02-22)
Okay not exactly purposeful exercise but I walked to the El and from the El to an appointment and in reverse plus walking around stores trying to look for an interview outfit so I got a bunch of movement in today. Stopped for a salad at Cosi too.

We talked a lot today about Ironman and my past efforts and where I see myself going forward. Therapist is all for me picking up training again despite potential pitfalls (financial, time, fitness-level) I'm just a little gun-shy as I feel like I'm already behind for the season. I'm going to think about it for another week, but if I decide to do it I need to start training seriously in March. It would be somewhat of a distraction that I could probably use, but you guys know what a huge commitment it is.

Ideally I could get a job at a gym so I both have access to facilities and the time to work-out so that's one of my potential options.

Ok, ready to get back on track again.  finally feeling better - Feb has been a tough month all around.

Easy Day:  Haven't had one of these in over a week.  Back to back hard days on Monday (tough bike session) and Tuesday (long run).  So, took one here.  Just a little upper body strength work and a short walk.

OK was a totally crazy day! Taught spin class and short circuit had to dry my hair so I could get a color job done right after class, found out late last night that both new treadmills were coming today one was going to come while I was teaching class the other as soon as I was done with my hair appt and my whale watchers weigh in.  Got to the gym text came the Curve that was coming in the am now scheduled for afternoon.  The Matrix virtual active scheduled for 12:30. Got done with hair appt ran well drove home and got some white chili started in the crock pot grabbed a banana and quick sandwich and the installer had just gotten to the gym. We moved the older one into the kids room got this guy going and it was pretty cool.  I ran a mile on a course in Utah and it felt pretty good, I didnt want to sweat cause I didnt have a pony holder or hat and knew the red would just run down my face and if I got all nasty since I just had red put in my hair.  As soon as he lef ...
